Spring has sprung in Caithness!  Todays temperature reached 16 degrees with a sun index of 4. The swallows have arrived along with the sandmartins and swifts.  

We have over 9 different types of wild orchids in Caithness, some of which are already in bloom. Several roe deer are sprouting their first set of horns, and the tadpoles in the garden pond are growing fat.
