October Week Thanks, Imogen, for a great week. Our American guests loved it but I see their comments are posted already. The cottage is very welcoming and a great balance between being classy and practical. The large tiled, heated porch being a particular plus when the weather isn't quite so good and you are coming in with wellies and waterproofs. [Heat and light being included in the price is also great for the off-season visitor.] We are looking forward to visiting again next year. Many thanks Rob Holden Posted by The Holden Family on 07 December 2009 The Sauna was Great! Hello Imogen, Cathy and Pat here from Connecticut, New England, USA. (We were the ones staying with the Holden clan in your wonderful croft.) Your place is beautiful, spacious, roomy, cozy, well-appointed----can you take responsibilities for the views, the rainbows, Brough Bay and the seals, too? We had a wonderful time! The sauna was great after a brisk damp walk. The sauna's cd player for my new Gaelic music (Julie Fowlis), and the open view to the garden were glorious extras. What a wonderful place you have- Pat knew it the minute we walked in the door to white roses and chilled wine. Thanks so much for making our week in the land of my great grandfather so special! Cathy Murray Ferry and Pat Duffey Posted by Cathy & Pat, Connecticut, USA on 23 November 2009 Thank You Our family stayed in the Croft for a very comfortable and cosy week in mid-October 2009. The cottage is well-equipped with a lot of additional personal touches which made our stay there extra special. Even off season, Caithness has plenty to offer with its magnificent and varied coastline, walks around Dunnet Forest, wild-life spotting (especially seals!), beach-combing, flying the kites, cycling to Dunnet Head and playing hide and seek in the garden! We all felt refreshed and rested. Thank you. Posted by Pam Gregory on 19 November 2009 The Croft Many thanks Imogen. we had a fantastic few days in the croft. Its tremendously comfortable and well appointed. The sauna (which we were first to use) is particularly welcome. all the best Pat MacLaren Posted by Patrick MacLaren on 12 October 2009 No Title on 03 October 2009 week 31- 2009 on 25 August 2009 Our super holiday 7/09 on 23 July 2009 First week of May on 13 May 2009 The Croft on 08 May 2009 No Title on 03 May 2009 Perfect Holiday on 20 February 2009 No Title on 18 November 2008 No Title on 09 October 2008 No Title on 02 September 2008 Our Stay on 10 August 2008 |
